The long rumoured Google Glass project became official just now and has got its first official video teaser. This video captures one day in the life of a person wearing Google's augmented visual aid.
While company hasn't revealed any final designs of the products coming out of project Google Glass, some tentative designs being tested by Google engineers were uploaded today by the company on project's official Google Plus page.
Part of company's secret X labs, Google Glass is the Mountain View's imagination of how technology should work for the consumer. It should be there when you need it and get out of your way when you don't, Project Glass to build this kind of technology, one that helps you explore and share your world, putting you back in the moment, stated Google in a post.
The video teaser gives us a glimpse of how Google is planning to overlay required information in front of the Google Glass product users, this information can be anything from text messages, map directions, calendar reminders, or even the entire video chats.
There is no official information on the time-frame of the release of the actual products as it is still in the testing stage.
